Arabs Destroy the Observation Point and a Commemorative Site at Netzer
\nin Gush Etzion<\/p>\n

Arab residents of one of the villages neighboring Netzer, in Gush\u00a0Etzion, came this afternoon (Thursday) to the grounds of Netzer with a\u00a0tractor and destroyed the observation point overlooking Gush Etzion
\nJunction and the commemorative site at that location.<\/p>\n

The heads of Women in Green, the movement that set up the site,\u00a0together with the Committee for Netzer, were summoned urgently to the\u00a0place while the Arabs were still wreaking destruction with the tractor
\nthat they were driving. While they were still carrying out the\u00a0destruction, the heads of Women in Green arrived, along with the lands\u00a0commissioner of Gush Etzion, Moshe Frucht and the local security\u00a0person, and together they put a stop to the action and stopped the
\nArab responsible for the destruction.<\/p>\n

In parallel to this act of destruction at the observation point,\u00a0another Arab tractor entered a different section of Netzer and tried\u00a0to take over large portions of land that had recently been declared\u00a0statelands.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe tailwind from Beit El has arrived to Gush Etzion\u201d, say both\u00a0Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, heads of Women in Green, about the\u00a0incident. \u201cThe Arabs destroyed the memorial site dedicated to the
\nmemory of Sarah Spiegel, obm, known for her love of Israel, fearlessly\u00a0and in broad daylight. They destroyed the large pergola, benches,\u00a0trees.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that Women in Green had erected a large pergola and\u00a0benches in memory of holocaust survivors. With this destructive act,\u00a0the Arabs plowed the site under, leaving behind havoc and ruin.<\/p>\n

“Let\u2019s see how the bleeding hearts cry out and make excuses now that\u00a0the destruction is over. The Arabs\u2019 audacity is rising more and more\u00a0while the image of the Israeli government becomes lower and lower,”
\nsay the two women, and promise that \u201cwe will return to set up the site\u00a0and the observation point overlooking Gush Etzion Junction, Alon\u00a0Shvut, Elazar, Efrat and Rosh Tzurim\u201d.<\/p>\n
